This antique secretary desk was falling apart at all of the joints and the finish was alligatored beyond repair.
We totally rebuilt the case and refinished it with a shellac base and pre catalyzed lacquer. The date on the back of the mirror dated 1902. The restoration of this secretary increased its value to the customer by making it presentable in their home.
